FERGUSON, Mo. — Before another night of violence in Ferguson, Mo., protesters walked the streets Sunday to speak out against the police shooting of unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown.

Most gathered outside of the QuikTrip store where a video showed Brown shoplifting. The store was later looted and burned to the ground, yet peaceful protestors remained outside days later. (RELATED: Sunday Night Brings More Looting And Destruction To Ferguson)

The scene quickly changed once night came. While actual protestors remained peaceful, yet heated, some opportunists made their way to the scene. Storefront windows were broken, looting took place, cars were damaged and shots were fired. Eventually the police fired tear gas and rubber bullets. Despite a curfew of 12:00 a.m., the police engaged as early as 8:30 p.m. because of the chaos. Once the looters were dispersed from the area, the protestors continued until the curfew without incident.
