Crew for the liberal cable network MSNBC endangered lives by shining its lights, spotlighting police officers in the crowd of Monday night’s violent racial protests in Ferguson, Missouri.

“MSNBC turn off those lights. You are endangering lives. You are spotlighting our officers,” said a police officer with a loudspeaker at approximately 1:24 a.m. Tuesday, according to Boston Globe reporter Akilah Johnson, who was at the scene of the protests.

MSNBC host Al Sharpton also delivered a fiery rally speech in Ferguson Sunday, claiming “We’re not looters, we’re liberators.”
