Sen. John McCain let down his hair Saturday night and revived the robot on stage alongside Jamie Foxx and Gov. Chris Christie in the Hamptons at a benefit for the Apollo Theater in Harlem.
The 77-year-old former presidential candidate got on stage and wowed Foxx with his robotic, energetic moves, after the crowd was chanting his name.
“It’s always the ones you don’t expect. Republicans love to dance in the Hamptons,” Foxx told the New York Post.

After former Secretary of State Colin Powell danced on stage last year, Foxx felt he needed to step it up this year. Bon Jovi, Sting, Pharrell and Gladys Knight all performed before Foxx took over, first inviting the rambunctious Christie to shake it up on stage.
“I know you’ve got a dance in you, Chris Christie.”

The event, dotted with stars like Barbara Streisand and Paul McCartney, raised $4 million for the New York venue.
