The Legends Football League is a game of few pads and less clothing, but plenty of rivalry.
Estrogen levels shot through the roof at the LFL Eastern Conference Championship between the Atlanta Steam and the Jacksonville Breeze after Atlanta beat them in the playoff game 20-14 to advance to the Legends Cup. Jacksonville had been the No. 2 team in the country and had been favored to beat the Atlanta team by over five points.
When they didn’t, tempers flared and so did the trash talking.
The league, formerly known as the Lingerie Football League, changed its name in early 2013, when it also changed its clothing policy from lingerie to sportswear, although it covers up about as much as the lingerie did.
