Joan Rivers is still on life support following a throat procedure gone wrong, but the 81-year-old comedienne has been moved from the ICU to a private room, E! News reports.
Her daughter Melissa Rivers gave the update in a statement Wednesday.
“My mother has been moved out of intensive care and into a private room where she is being kept comfortable. Thank you for your continued support.”
Rivers stopped breathing and went into cardiac arrest last Thursday during a routine throat procedure at a clinic. She was taken to Mount Sinai hospital in New York, where she has remained since in a medically induced coma. (RELATED: Joan Rivers’ Family: ‘Keeping Our Fingers Crossed’)
