Asked what the Senate should do first if Republicans win it back in November, Nevada Republican Rep. Mark Amodei said it doesn’t really matter as long as it gets something done.
“There’s plenty of issues which probably really don’t lend themselves to Democrats and Republicans trying to be uber political,” he said. “Immigration is one, healthcare is one. All the various things that are economy related, whether it’s the Ex-Im bank, whether it’s jobs related — the Keystone Pipeline.”
“I mean there’ plenty in the que to do,” he continued. “I think most American people are kind of tired of the whole thing of seeing no results come out of Congress, and so it’s kind of impossible to miss. Pick anything and start working on it.”
