Anonymous 4chan users, reportedly angry over a recent speech she gave about gender equality in New York Sunday, threatened to leak Emma Watson’s nude photos on the same image website where other anonymous users posted nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, and a string of other celebrities in late August.

The anonymous user went so far as to make a website dedicated to it, called emmayouarenext.com, which featured an image of Watson wiping away a tear, and a countdown saying the photos would be released Wednesday at midnight.

However, instead of naked pictures, the site redirected to a marketing company’s homepage, Rantic.com, saying they have been hired by celebrity publicists to shut down 4chan. It featured this letter to the president. (RELATED: 4Chan Threatens Emma Watson With Nude Photo Leak)

“DEAR BARACK OBAMA,

‘We have been hired by celebrity publicists to bring this disgusting issue to attention. The recent 4chan celebrity nude leaks in past 2 months have been an invasion of privacy and is also clear indication that the internet NEEDS to be censored. Every Facebook like, share & Twitter mention will count as a social signature — and will be step closer to shutting down www.4chan.org.'”

The site, which claims 48 million viewers, also had the hashtag #shutdown4chan, and said, “None of these women deserve this and together we can make change.”

It’s unconfirmed if the site is truly put forth by celebrity publicists.

The hoax and site come after a second wave of released nude photos, following the first massive leak in late August. The first leaked photos of countless celebrities–including Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Kirsten Dunst, and Emily Ratajkowski–spurred a FBI investigation into the leak, which reportedly came from an Apple iCloud bug, though Apple has denied responsibility.  (RELATED: Nude Photos Of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton Released)
