Bloomberg Politics is hosting a launch party to debut the powerful duo that is John Heilemann and Mark Halperin. Heilemann and Halperin will debut their new daily program “With All Due Respect” — a name coined by NBC “TODAY Show” host Savannah Guthrie.

The pair wrote Game Change, a book later that later became a movie on HBO. They will reportedly earn $1 million each through the 2016 presidential election.

The party will be held at Teddy & The Bully Bar on Oct. 7.

As the invite states, they’re setting the bar quite high with expectations.

“Watch first-hand how Mark Halperin and John Heilemann elevate the national political discourse to deliver insight on politics, policy and the issues being shaped in the Beltway and beyond,” reads the invitation.

Does our national political discourse really need elevating?

A face you can expect to see tweeting at the party: Newly hired Dave Weigel.

“With All Due Respect” premieres on Oct. 6 on Bloomberg Television at 5 p.m. With their extremely high paychecks, let’s hope the party has swag bags. Who doesn’t want Heilemann and Halperin buttons? At the very least, they should smush their faces on cupcakes: Washington, D.C. staple party food.
