Bad news everyone: Piers Morgan has a new job.
More bad news: He’s working for a British tabloid… but staying in America.
Morgan announced on his Twitter page Monday morning that he indeed has a new job. The Daily Mail has since confirmed that he is their new U.S. editor-at-large in New York.

According to the Daily Mail, Morgan “will write several times each week, bringing his own experience and perspective to bear on the big U.S. stories of the moment. He will continue contributing a weekly column to the Mail on Sunday newspaper and hosting ‘Piers Morgan’s Life Stories’ on ITV in Britain.”
Lastly, and perhaps most unfortunately, “he will also be pursuing new television ventures in the U.S.”
Morgan, who’s known mostly for his dismal CNN ratings and the phone-tapping scandal in Britain, has been officially out of work since March, when CNN decided they actually wanted people to watch their shows.
