Police arrested the 54-year-old headmaster of a fancypants Bay Area private school after they found him in a hotel room on Friday afternoon with “a litany” of hard drugs including cocaine, meth and heroin — and a passed-out, 21-year-old woman.

The headmaster in hot water is Thomas Woodrow “Woody” Price, who has since resigned from his supervisory position at The Branson School in posh Marin County, Calif., the Marin Independent Journal reports.

The 21-year-old woman is Brittney Hall.

The Hyatt Place hotel room which Price and Hall allegedly made into their personal drug den is located about 100 miles away from the Bay Area in a suburb of Sacramento.

Things began to go fantastically wrong for Price and Hall on Friday around noon when a man contacted Sacramento police claiming to be Hall’s boyfriend. The man said he was concerned that she and an older man might be at the Hyatt Place doing drugs.

Police determined which room Hall and Price were in. They knocked on the door. There was a long delay. Eventually, Price answered the door.

“He initially told us she was fine and there was nothing to worry about,” Sacramento sheriff’s Sgt. Jason Ramos told Bay Area Fox affiliate KTVU.

However, officers said they could see Hall passed out on a bed. They yelled to her several times. She didn’t respond.

The police then entered the hotel room, where they saw a massive array of drugs and a bunch of drug paraphernalia.

“We’re talking about a small motel room where almost everywhere the officers looked there was some evidence of either drugs or drug paraphernalia,” Ramons told KTVU, “including methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, as well as some prescription drugs.”

The amount of drugs in the room was, in fact, so impressive that the felony drug charges against both Hall and Price include possession with intent to sell.

After the cops managed to revive Hall, they arrested both Price and Hall.

Price was “forthcoming” about his role as the headmaster at Branson. He portrayed his relationship with Hall as a “casual hookup,” according to the Independent Journal.

Police believe Price has been carrying on an ongoing, drug-laden “casual hookup” with the 21-year-old Hall for a couple years now.

Price is currently free on $75,000 bail. However, he apparently didn’t bother to bail out his “casual hookup” partner, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. She was still sitting in jail as of Monday, waiting to be arraigned.

The former headmaster is a two-time Ivy League graduate. He holds a master’s degree from Columbia University and a doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania.

Price came to Branson in 2007 from another expensive private school. His wife came with him. She heads up another exclusive private school in the Bay Area.

The couple has a son.

Tuition at The Branson School is $39,475 annually.
