Democratic Georgia Senate candidate Michelle Nunn refused to say Wednesday whether or not she voted for President Barack Obama. But records reveal that her father donated to the president.

Nunn said nothing when an opposition researcher asked her on camera whether she voted for Obama. One of Nunn’s supporters told the cameraman to “leave her alone.”

Nunn’s father, Sam Nunn, made two donations totaling $7,300 to the Obama Victory Fund in 2008. Sam Nunn is a former U.S. senator from Georgia and currently serves as chairman and CEO of the Nuclear Threat Initiative.

Nunn is the second Democratic U.S. Senate candidate and daughter of an Obama donor to recently refuse to admit to voting for Obama, after Kentucky’s Alison Lundergan Grimes.

Nunn leads Republican David Perdue in the Georgia Senate race by three points, according to a local poll released Wednesday.
