Humiliating the pompous and proving that foodies are frauds is great sport in any language. Watch these two Dutch bros walk around a food convention in the Netherlands, serving yummy McDonald’s grub to a bunch of “experts” and telling them it’s organic:
“If you tell people that something is organic, they’ll automatically believe it’s organic!” It also helps if you put it on toothpicks and serve it like hors d’oeuvres, butler-style. Stroke a narcissist’s ego and he’ll believe anything.
People like this are why Whole Foods is thriving. And why shopping there is such an unpleasant experience.
