Politico lobbying and campaign reporter Byron Tau is jumping ship after four years and is headed to the Wall Street Journal.

Tau will remain in Washington at WSJ‘s D.C. bureau. His beat will be the White House.
“It’s sad to be leaving all my great colleagues at Politico behind, but I’m excited for a new adventure,” he told The Mirror.
UPDATE: Politico is also losing video journo Madeline Marshall to WSJ.
