Elusive ‘Triple Flop’ Caught On Camera

On Monday night, the Denver Nuggets hosted the Sacramento Kings in a Western Conference matchup. The Kings bested Denver by a score of 110 to 105 and improved to 3-1 on the season; the Nuggets fell to 1-2.

Despite tight play from both squads, the game made Deadspin headlines for a different reason:

It looks like Kenneth Faried, Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins all passed Coach K’s “Team USA: Flopping 101” seminar this summer.
The “flop” is destroying the NBA. This isn’t soccer. With all due respect to Shaq, basketball has no room for wannabe actors– unless of course they play genies living in ’90s-era boomboxes.
WATCH:

The flopping epidemic is poisonous. Would Bill Laimbeer flop? Hell no. Did you ever see Larry Legend try and sell the foul over making an actual stop? No way. NBA attendance is seriously waning, and fans are sick and tired of watching soap operas rather than giants battling it out in the paint.

It’s time to make a change.
