I don’t watch Matt Lauer because he’s Matt Lauer, so I don’t know if this is how he reacted to the election results in 2008 and 2012. But it’s safe to say he wasn’t quite this ticked off, right?
Ticked right the hell off:
“Opposing the president’s policy is not a policy.” I don’t remember hearing much of that between 2001 and 2009, but whatever. And Lauer looks like he’s ready to lunge at Chris Christie. That would be a very bad idea, and a lot of fun to watch.
When Democrats win, it’s the will of the people, so shut up and do what the Dems say. When Republicans win, it’s the will of the people Democrats don’t like, so shut up and do what the Dems say. Heads they win, tails you lose.
The next two years will be a smorgasbord of schadenfreude. Everybody dig in! 🙂
