Scott Walker for president in 2016? Not so fast, everyone.
Walker, a strong contender for the GOP nomination after winning his third statewide election in four years, told Fox6 Milwaukee in an interview that aired Sunday night, that one would “have to be crazy to want to be president.”
“I’m not going to run just because of the pundits or anything else like that,” Walker’s told Fox6’s Mike Lowe. “The closer you get to something like that the more you realize — and I say this only half jokingly — that you have to be crazy to want to be president.”
“Anyone who has seen pictures of this president or any of the former presidents can see the before and after,” Walker said. “No matter how fit, no matter how young they are, they age pretty rapidly when you look at their hair and everything else involved with it.”
Walker also touched on the scrutiny his two children have received during the course of his first term, likening it to the children of a president, while looking back at his most recent victory two weeks ago.
