It’s been a month of firsts for the Naval variant of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, which recently conducted its first carrier-based night flights aboard the U.S.S. Nimitz late last week.
The jet executed a number planned touch-and-go landings before making an arrested landing after nightfall on Nov. 13, according to The Aviationist.
