Who didn’t see this one coming? MSNBC’s “The Cycle” brought in scientist mechanical engineer Bill Nye to explain why the blizzard hitting the city of Buffalo was caused by global warming.

“Buffalo sees about 8 feet of snow a year, but they’ve already seen most of that and winter has not officially started yet,” said host Touré Neblett, “What’s the science behind all this?”

Nye was remarkably honest in initially admitting, “Well, you can’t tie, especially cold weather events are difficult to tie to climate change.” (RELATED: The New Consensus: 100 Percent Of Scientists Agree That Global Warming ‘Stopped’ Or ‘Slowed Down’)

…Before he tied it to climate change anyways. “But it’s very reasonable that it’s climate change. Everybody, when Lake Erie’s warmer, more water evaporates into the air and it snows more. I don’t make the rules, people.”

Nye also got in a dig at Republican Oklahoma Senator James Inhofe: “Let’s say you’re a Senator from Oklahoma — shooting from the hip — and your nearest neighbor is kilometers, half a mile away. It just seems literally incredible that the human population could change the climate of the world and that guy, you’re not going to change his mind in an afternoon.”
