In the wake of President Barack Obama’s executive order protecting nearly five million illegal immigrants from deportation, “Saturday Night Live” gave it’s take on the action, depicting Obama shoving “Bill” from “Schoolhouse Rock” down the steps of Congress in favor of “Executive Order.”
After shoving “Bill” down the steps, which he does on three separate occasions, Obama explains “there’s actually an even easier way to get things done around here,” before introducing “Executive Order.”
Even “Executive Order” doesn’t realize the scope of the president’s executive authority, saying such orders can create a national park or a national holiday, until Obama tells “Executive Order” what he just did.
“Oh my god, well I didn’t have time to read myself…whoa! Okay, go big or go home!” exclaimed “Executive Order” after learning of Obama’s actions.
