Star Wars fans will get their first look at the new trilogy featuring the original cast on Black Friday, when the first trailer for “Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens” opens eyes in select theaters across the country.
Director J.J. Abrams tweeted the announcement via his Bad Robot production company Monday.

Regal Cinemas initially announced the 88-second trailer will appear in Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, Warrington, Penn., Knoxville, Houston, Seattle, San Diego and Irvine Calif., but has since pulled the location list from its website according to The Verge, hinting more locations could be added before Friday. Abrams and the cast have reportedly finished shooting the film, which comes out in full on Dec. 18, 2015.
