The Netflix original series “House of Cards” announced Monday its third season will be available on the streaming service Feb. 27, 2015, and its announcement included a “special message from the White House.”

The short video shows the power-hungry couple Frank Underwood wife Claire boarding Air Force One, and Underwood, played by Kevin Spacey, looks directly into the camera as he makes his way up the stairs.

“House of Cards” was the first strictly-online television series to be nominated for nine Primetime Emmy Awards and four Golden Globes. (RELATED: ‘House of Cards’ Is The Most Tea Party Show, Ever)
