Not one to ever shy away from trouble, business mogul and rapper Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson took to Instagram to call for a “purge” after a New York grand jury decided not to prosecute the police officer who choked Eric Garner. Comparing the finding to the officer who shot Mike Brown being let off last month, he told his 3.7 million followers “if you don’t like it, fuck it PURGE.”

“Mike brown, Eric garner two new unfortunate situation. I’m not sure what the out come will be, but I know people are angry. We are all a product of our experience. I have stood in a crowd by my self before. So I keep my personal views to my self. If you don’t like it, fuck it PURGE.#SMSaudio

“Purge” is likely a reference to “The Purge,” a recent series of sci-fi, dystopian horror movies about a night when criminals are allowed to commit any crime they want, while innocents try to survive.

Going out and attacking random innocent people is definitely not the answer, although I feel he is being a little sarcastic here. Police violence is clearly a huge issue that needs to be addressed, and I believe his overall goal is to bring as much attention to the situation as possible.

This isn’t the first time 50 has weighed in: Back in August, 50 Cent and his G-Unit crew released a music video in response to the Mike Brown and Eric Garner situations. In it, the crew vented over a hard hitting beat and graphic video of police brutality and riots, saying “Now why the fuck did you call them cops?… Now who the fuck did dial 911?”
