Pippa Middleton’s bum attracted a sizable amount of attention when she wore a white hip-hugging gown while carrying her sister’s wedding dress train down the aisle during the royal wedding in 2011, and it was certainly no small matter.
It even won her “Rear of the Year.”

On her blog Wednesday, Pippa wrote about some obscure, seemingly unrelated topics: truffle hunting in Piedmont, western dancing in Jackson Hole and comparing hers and Kim Kardashian’s butt.
She said she was tired of eating truffles, and that line dancing made her realize she had two left feet. As for Kardashian’s bum, Pippa insulted it in the most polite way possible.

“No year is complete without a bottom story, and the ‘Rear of 2014’ award undoubtedly goes to Kim Kardashian, after her posterior exploded all over the internet last month. I must say that mine — though it has enjoyed fleeting fame — is not comparable. But the Kim butt story did make me pause. What is it with this American booty culture? It seems to me to be a form of obsession. Kim’s aim, apparently, was to break the internet, but I’m not sure she’s going the right way about it.”
