How much of an effect has the Sony hack had on the Hollywood class? So much so, apparently, that no one really wants to talk about it.

Teasing the upcoming edition of “Meet The Press,” host Chuck Todd told Chris Matthews Friday that he has had issues booking and locking down anyone in the Hollywood for the Sunday morning public affairs show, saying that many are “afraid to speak out.”

“Well, I think it’s been — I’ll tell you, interestingly enough on the Sony front. We’ve had a hard time — there’s a lot of Hollywood that doesn’t want to speak out, that is afraid to speak out,” Todd said. “We had some people that were on the hook and then decided out of safety concerns not to.”

“I wonder if the president’s words changes that mind,” Todd added.

The only person Todd mentioned by name for Sunday’s lineup for “Meet The Press” was Sen. Marco Rubio to discuss the recent developments with Cuba, along with others on the other side of the argument from the Florida senator.

No need to fear though, Chris Matthews will be on to save the day.

“Yea, and I’ll be on there too,” Matthews said, easing everyone’s concerns about Sunday’s show.
