The New Orleans Pelicans hosted the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night and gave Anthony Davis — their all-star center — another opportunity to prove he’s the most disruptive defensive force in the NBA.

Davis had 22 points in the Pelicans’ 97-90 win, but the third-year big man spent most of the game inviting every single Spurs player to his personal block party.

“Oh, Manu, you’re definitely invited.”

“Don’t worry, Tim. I didn’t forget about your invite.”

No big deal. That’s just AD-23 sending two hall-of-famers on one-way trips to Pakistan.

My man is looking like Oprah out there.

I can’t lie; when he entered the NBA draft after only one season at Kentucky, I thought the skinny 18-year old would fizzle at the professional level. It only took two years and some 30-odd lbs of muscle to show me just how wrong I was.

Davis is having a monster year and has transformed into the one-man wrecking crew the Pelicans envisioned when they drafted him with the first overall pick. (RELATED: Let’s All Take A Moment To Laugh At Kendrick Perkins’ Foolish Attempt To Shoot Over AD-23)
