The Florida Gators are currently battling the East Carolina Pirates in the Birmingham Bowl.

The Gators scored on a two-yard rush on the first play of the second quarter, a play which turned out to be the biggest “oh shit” moment of red-shirt freshman Adam Lane’s career. Deadspin keyed me in to a certain wardrobe malfunction Lane encountered after scoring.

Uh oh… (screenshot: ESPN)

That was Lane hustling to the sidelines after the play with 14:56 until halftime.

Here’s a trainer giving him a towel to wrap around the seat of his pants.

Finally, here’s Lane back on the field after a few minutes spent in the locker-room. Note the time — 10:08 left in the first half — and the unsoiled trousers.

Talk about leaving it all on the field.
