Horse racing is a sport reserved for the rich, or at least for those with a dry sense of humor.
As a habitual gambler with addictive tendencies, I make a point of avoiding the race track at all costs. Still, there’s something oddly magical about hearing announcers call races where all of the horses’ names are medieval, French monarchs/borderline nonsense.
It’s even funnier when said names lead to playing silly, sophomoric jokes on announcers during the race.
Check out this race that took place on Sunday at Florida’s Gulfstream Park featuring a stallion named “Harass.”
