Suns rookie Archie Goodwin is making a huge splash in the NBA.

The former Kentucky Wildcat was selected in the first round of the 2013 draft for his freak athleticism. After finally being traded to to Phoenix, Goodwin spent the majority of the 2013-2014 season maturing in the NBA’s developmental league and was recalled prior to the beginning of this year.

Based on the dunk he threw down in Sunday night’s game against Toronto, the young guard is finally figuring it out.

To recap, that was the 6’5″ Goodwin absolutely posterizing 7’0″ center Jonas Valanciunas.

Daddy likey.

A dynamic, play-making presence off the bench, Goodwin will bolster one of the most up-and-coming young rosters in the Western Conference. Sunday’s win boosts Phoenix’s record to 20-16, putting them at 3rd place in the Pacific Division.
