Whether you’re a casual bar player or a die-hard dart enthusiast, this next video is bound to thrill.
At the 2015 PDC William Hill World Darts Championship, British hurler Adrian Lewis threw a perfect 9 darter against Raymond van Barneveld.
This is what it’s all about.
According to Boing Boing there have only been 42 of these 9 darters in the past 30 years, but don’t let the deceptively high number fool you. Finishing a round of 501 by throwing seven triple-20’s, a triple-19, and a double-12 is nigh impossible.
Darts has never been known as the most physically arduous sport, but that doesn’t mean it’s not damn exciting. Just listen to that crowd. Show me someone who didn’t get psyched watching this and I’ll show you a liar.
By the way, Lewis’ reactions are early candidates for 2015’s celebration of the year.
Cool as a cucumber.
