Some asshole decided he no longer wanted his adorable shar-pei mix named Kai, and instead of giving him away to a loving home like a normal human being, the person with the emotional range of a teaspoon decided to tie him up at a train station in South Ayrshire and leave him with a suitcase of all his belongings.
The Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals found Kai and a suitcase packed with his pillow, toys, food bowl and food tied to a railing inside the station.
The society is using the dog’s microchip to find his last owner, but only found one who had him in 2013, before selling him, USA Today reports.
“Unfortunately they could not tell us the address of the person who bought him. This case highlights the potential consequences of selling an animal online as it often leads to the impulse buying of pets that people know very little about,” the SPCA said in a statement.
The society, who estimates Kai to be around two or three, will care for him until a proper owner is found. (RELATED: Sarah Palin Lets Son Stand On Dog)
