President Obama drove Thursday directly past the Phoenix Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) hospital that saw patient deaths due to its use of secret paper waiting lists that were not recorded on the VA’s electronic wait system, according to reporters traveling with him.
Obama is in Phoenix promoting a housing initiative to cut mortgage insurance premiums. The president had no time to stop at the place where secret patient waiting lists were being used to the detriment of sick veterans. (RELATED: Obama Admin Knew About Secret Waiting Lists).
