There comes an unfortunate moment in most young men’s lives that makes them say to themselves, “ok, maybe I’m not going to be a professional athlete after all.”
This is one of those moments.

Good sportsmanship would state that you should keep playing until the whistle is blown — and something should be said for this kid hustling back into the play — but in this case, he should’ve just stayed down.
You got beat. There’s no point in drawing more attention to your “broke-as-Kim-Jun-Un’s-cheese-weakened” ankles. As Cajun Man would say, you “live to play another day.”
