A new ISIS propaganda video features a child executing two alleged Russian spies.

The child executioner, known as Abdullah, looks no older than 11 or 12.

The video, entitled “Uncovering An Enemy Within,” features interviews and narration in Russian, with Arabic and English subtitles. The end of the video is an interview of the boy, smiling and expressing his hope to kill infidels, taken from a prior ISIS video. The boy speaks in Kazakh.

The alleged spies in the video are identified as Jambulat Mamayev and Sergey Ashimov.

They say they were sent to Turkey by Russia’s federal security service (FSB) to assassinate an ISIS operative, but were quickly captured. They are both identified as Muslims, and they acknowledge that those who fight “against the Muslims,” that is, the Islamic State, become apostates from Islam. The boy then shoots them both in the back of the head with a handgun.

The terrorist organization’s propaganda arm, Al-Hayat Media, has produced several videos in the languages of particular Muslim populations, including Indonesian and German. Russian-speaking jihadis, including those from Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries, have been featured in previous videos, including November’s “A Visit To Mosul” and “Race Towards Good.”

The prepubescent executioner appears in “Race Towards Good,” where he sits in a classroom and performs military drills with an AK-47.

Jihadi movements worldwide have increased their use of child soldiers recently. In Nigeria, children recruited by Boko Haram carried out two highly public suicide bomb attacks, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. The bomber in Saturday’s attack was a 10 year old girl.
