On Tuesday morning, NewAtlantaStadium.com released a fly-through video depicting a virtual version of the state-of-the-art stadium planned for downtown Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Falcons digital content manager Jay Adams, Falcons owner Arthur Blank focused on “reimagining the stadium experience” during the design phase. Blank’s focus is evident in the fly-through video, which highlights the stadium’s unique appearance. As designed, the stadium will boast a petal-like retractable roof, transparent walls, 360-degree HD video board, flexible capacity and LEED certification.

The stadium will be home to the Atlanta Falcons and the unnamed Atlanta MLS team, and the city of Atlanta hopes that the new venue will attract other major events, like the Super Bowl. If all goes according to plan, the stadium will open in 2017.
