Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari announced forward J.J. Hickson’s alley-oop in Italian on Wednesday night.
Sidelined with a torn right meniscus, Gallinari joined the Nuggets’ television broadcast to talk and do some play-by-play with Chris Marlowe and color analyst Scott Hastings.
The best moment of the call was when Gallinari started speaking in English again and Hastings said, “No, in Italian, dummy.”

Hopefully Gallinari continues to stop by the broadcast booth as he is rehabbing his injury to keep adding some Italian flavor to the game.
