Is Elizabeth Warren on the war path or is her tribe merely walking a trail of tears?

200,000 people have signed up for email alerts on the site runwarrenrun.org, which states in bold, “Dear Elizabeth Warren: Please Run For President.”

As Hillary Clinton gears up for a presidential run with the help of Obama White House adviser John Podesta, left-wing dissatisfaction with Clinton keeps the pro-Warren thing going. Warren said in an interview with Fortune magazine that she is not going to run, but Romney said that too and nobody seemed to hold him to that.

The progressive activist group MoveOn.org runs the pro-Warren site in partnership with Howard Dean’s “Democracy for America” group.

Democracy for America executive director Charles Chamberlain made a statement that can’t exactly be translated as “But it’s cool, progressives are okay with Hillary too.”

“In 2016, Americans want to elect a president who isn’t afraid to take on the powerful and put forward a populist progressive agenda in her fight for working families. This is Senator Warren’s moment,” Chamberlain said.
