Michelle Obama is not currently running for political office, nor is her term-limited husband, but Saturday, Jan. 17 is her 51st birthday. And what better way to celebrate the quinquagenarian first lady’s big day than by giving free money to the Democratic Party?
That’s the message from the official Twitter account of the Democratic Party. The verified Twitter account known simply as The Democrats boasts 351,000 followers. It has tweeted the big event a few times over the course of this week. For example:

The fine print there notes that an outfit called DNC Services Corporation put together the webpage (which you can also view in español). Below that, it says “Paid for by the Democratic National Committee.”
Once you give the DNC your email address and your zip code, you are magically transported to a third webpage where — wait for it — you can donate your hard-earned cash to the Democratic Party:
