A billboard for the movie “American Sniper” was defaced in Los Angeles Sunday, with the vandal adding the word “Murder!”
L.A.-based poet Remi Kanzai tweeted out a picture of the billboard:

The graffiti comes in the wake of criticism of the Oscar-nominated film for its depiction of decorated Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle. Left-wing filmmaker Michael Moore tweeted that sniper are “cowards,” while Canadian actor Seth Rogan compared the film to the fictional Nazi propaganda film from the movie “Inglorious Basterds.”
