Though the “Miss Universe” pageant isn’t until Saturday night, the preliminary show has already begun, and on Thursday all 88 contestants put on their costumes over their spray tans and paraded around stage looking mighty ridiculous.

Miss Canada Chanel Beckenlehner clearly put in the most effort because she wore the Stanley Cup ON TOP OF HER HEAD, complete with her very own scoreboard and lace-up thigh-high skates.

But you could see right through Miss Lithuania.

And then there was Miss Dominican Republic Kimberly Castillo, whose costume made me uncomfortable just by looking at it.

Miss Brazil doesn’t even want to be Miss Universe, but a Victoria’s Secret Angel instead.

If you’re a bird, we’re a bird Miss Belgium.

Miss India’s costume looks like it took a lot of balance.
