During his Thursday press conference in which he denied any involvement, responsibility or knowledge, Tom Brady downplayed the importance of deflate-gate, saying “this isn’t ISIS” and that “no one is dying.”
BRADY: I have had a lot of great support from a lot of people, and I think in a situation like this it’s really — it’s a very — like I said, sometimes some of the toughest things you deal with end up being the best things because you realize that the people you can rely on that love you and support you through something like this. So, it’s a — I appreciate all their support. I tell them i’m okay. Things are fine. This isn’t ISIS. This isn’t — you know, no one is dying. But we’ll get through this, and hopefully we can really start preparing for Seattle and get our mind focused there, because they’re going to take all my mental energy for the next ten days.
