“American Sniper kind of reminds me of the movie that’s showing in the third act of Inglorious Basterds.”
Initially, Seth Rogen dismissed the criticism of that comment, attributing it to a “slow news day.” But since then, apparently someone has reminded him that movies don’t make money unless people go to see them. Now he’s apologizing.
Here’s his response, which he tweeted out last night as an image file:
I believe him. It was a stupid comment, but if he didn’t mean it the way it came out, then he didn’t mean it the way it came out.
Whew! Now I can go back to avoiding his movies for all the other reasons.
