Thirty inches of snowfall wasn’t the only surprise Monday night’s “snowpocalypse” had in store for Boston, as the first epic blizzard of 2015 brought an equally epic creature of legend along with it.
Since the snowfall started Monday night, a yeti (or abominable snowman) has been spotted stalking the streets of Boston, and sightings have become so frequent that an account on Twitter has been created with the singular purpose of tracking the creature of legend, which has also climbed onto the front page of Reddit.

According to Wikipedia, a yeti is “an ape-like cryptid taller than an average human that is said to inhabit the Himalayan region of Nepal and Tibet.” That means the mythic beast is far from home, but if the rest of winter 2015 is anything like Monday, it may not be alone for long.
