The Minnesota Timberwolves’ video promoting their game on Saturday, Jan. 31 against the Cleveland Cavaliers failed to mention former Timberwolves all-star power forward Kevin Love and hyped up the return of former Timberwolves’ small forward Mike Miller.

Miller’s lone season in Minnesota came during the 2008-09 season, where he averaged 9.9 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.

Love was traded to the Cavaliers this past August after six seasons in Minnesota and three all-star appearances. It was expected that Love was going to leave Minnesota during free agency this summer, so the Timberwolves traded him to make sure they didn’t lose him for nothing.

Despite their 8-37 record which is the worst in the NBA, it looks like the trade will work out for the Timberwolves going forward as rookie small forward Andrew Wiggins, who they acquired in the trade, is averaging 19.2 points per game in January.
