As American Sniper continues to smash box-office records, our moral, ethical, and intellectual betters have been caught flat-footed. They’re so flabbergasted, their worldview is so fragile, that they’ve resorted to saying what they really think about America. Thankfully, they’ve been banished to the relative obscurity of places like the New York Times and MSNBC.
