‘Gun Violence’: A Politically Correct Con Game

When it comes to words, too often the cops and our national propaganda ministry get it dead wrong.

When making a statement about gang-related violence, more often than not law enforcement spokespersons, chiefs of police, mayors, elected officials, community leaders, and the national propaganda ministry always get it wrong.

In describing the violence that pervades certain sections of our cities, these people often describe it as “gun violence.”

The bulletproof truth is that there is no such thing as “gun violence.” In all my years of handling and shooting guns, I’ve yet to encounter a gun that is responsible for mayhem and murder or any sort of violence whatsoever.

Thugs, punks, and the never ending army of paroled gangster street savages often use guns to kill and maim each other. However, in every situation it’s the gangster street rats pulling the triggers.

Labeling guns as being responsible for the urban mayhem would be analogous to blaming tractors for farming injuries and deaths. According the Centers for Disease Control, tractor overturns are the leading cause of death to farmers. I’ve yet to hear a member of the national propaganda ministry label farm deaths as  “tractor violence.”

Just as tractors aren’t responsible for the deaths of farmers, guns are not responsible for the deaths of urban street gang members.

Many, if not all, of the research data on violence in America indicates that urban gangs account for the vast majority of the violence. Outside of the urban gangland warfare, America is one of most peaceful places on the planet — and Americans own 300 million guns, not counting mine!

Should our representatives, cops, mayors, and national propaganda ministry want to get it right, they should do their homework and get after the culprit, the lowest common denominator, of what is truly causing all the mayhem and murder in our urban areas they would find it to be the lack of parents.

You’ve never heard any member of the national propaganda ministry, cop spokespeople, chiefs of police, etc., describe the mayhem and murder violence as “parentless violence.”

The lack of meaningful parental discipline in so many homes is the primary reason for the nightly crime and violence in our urban centers.

Too many young men are being raised without any parental control. The result of this is all too often a prison cell or a grave or both.

So why the lack of meaningful parenting? In a nutshell, it’s because our federal government got involved in a grand, failed and social experiment known as the Great Society. After pouring some sixteen trillion dollars down a hole, things haven’t turned out so great, especially for black America.

This tragic “not so great society” scam actually brainwashed its victems to believe they can rely on big daddy Fedzilla for everything, therefor abandoning their responsibilities to be upright citizens and good parents.

Prior to the grand illusion of the not-so-great society, there were many more moms and dads in the homes and there was less violence in urban America. The not-so-great society scam shattered the family structure while claiming it was helping the less fortunate. That was a con, and the con is still being played out to the tune of roughly one trillion dollars a year.

Let’s call the nightly mayhem and murder what it really is: Parentless violence. Parentless violence was brought about by a misguided, illogical, and irresponsible federal government who believed they knew what was best.

Guns aren’t to blame. The reasons for the mayhem, murder and nightly violence in our urban areas are much deeper than “gun violence.”

Parentless violence is the ugly elephant in the room.  Let’s get it right and not play politically correct word games anymore.
