Netflix on Wednesday dropped the first full trailer for “Daredevil,” and it looks like the darkest corner of Marvel’s on-screen universe yet.
The one-and-a-half minute teaser doesn’t reveal anything concrete about the story, but includes all the “man without fear” mythos essentials — the dark and gritty criminal underbelly of Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen, protagonist Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox)’s suit-and-tie prosecution by day and vigilante crime fighting by night, and the familiar blurred lines of ethics, morality and justice in between.
