A snowboarding rescue volunteer in Romania rode the downslope of his life earlier this week when an avalanche opened up beneath him moments into his ride
He captured the whole thing on a GoPro video camera.
Sorin Radu was just starting down Papusa Mountain in Gorj, Romania on Tuesday when the snowdrift cracked in front of him and broke away into an avalanche, sending Radu tumbling down the mountainside, miraculously unharmed.
Radu uploaded the video, first spotted by Mashable, on YouTube.
