Bruce Jenner was driving his black Cadillac Escalade through Malibu around noon Saturday when he was involved in a four-car crash that left one person dead and several others injured.
Jenner was headed home on the Pacific Coast Highway when he rear-ended a woman driving a Lexus sedan, who had just hit a black Prius in front of her. The woman, in her 70s, then veered into oncoming traffic and was struck by a Hummer in a head-on collision.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, TMZ reports.
Jenner was not injured and only damaged the front end of his SUV, but the other seven involved in the wreck were taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Jenner took a field sobriety test and submitted a blood sample to investigators so they could determine if he was inebriated, which he passed.

Jenner was pulling his Polaris UTV at the time, which he had loaned to a wounded veterans group, TMZ reports.

The crash comes during a time of widespread reporting that Jenner is “transitioning into a woman.”
The former Olympic gold medalist has reportedly had his Adam’s apple smoothed out and frequently gets manicures. He is supposed to confirm the decision in an interview with Diane Sawyer in May. (RELATED: Bruce Jenner’s Mom Confirms Transition)
