#NotAllAtheists Shoot Three Muslims In North Carolina

Font Size:

Shocking news out of Chapel Hill this morning.

Derek Hunter:

Three Muslim students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill were tragically murdered by a crazed progressive atheist, and the mainstream media is ignoring that fact.

The victims, Deah Shaddy Barakat, 23, his wife, Yusor Mohammad, 21, and her sister, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19, were shot and killed by Craig Stephen Hicks, 46.

He’s named Craig Hicks. Figures.

Why did he do it? Is he a teabagger? Is he trying to bring back the Crusades? Does he watch Fox News? Must be, right?

Nope. Patrick Poole, PJ Tatler:

A review of the Facebook page of the man charged in these murders, Craig Hicks, shows a consistent theme of anti-religion and progressive causes. Included in his many Facebook “likes” are the Huffington Post, Rachel Maddow, the Southern Poverty Law Center, Freedom from Religion Foundation, Bill Nye “The Science Guy,” Neil deGrasse Tyson, gay marriage groups, and a host of anti-conservative/Tea Party pages.

Still wondering why the national news (except for the evil Faux Noise) is stepping lightly around this guy? It’s because he’s one of theirs. He doesn’t fit the narrative. He’s a problem.

Here’s the math, according to our moral, ethical, and intellectual betters in the media:

Atheism > Islam > Judeo-Christianity

If a Christian or a Jew does something awful to a Muslim or an atheist, that’s because he’s a Christian or a Jew. (See: the Crusades, Israel, etc.) But if a Muslim does something awful to a Jew or a Christian, it’s not because he’s a Muslim. Or, if it is, they probably deserved because [fill in the blank].

And if an atheist does something awful to anybody… Well, these things just happen, don’t they?

No word yet from the White House:

I hope this miserable psycho Craig Hicks is executed by burying him up to his neck next to a hill of fire ants and pouring 10 gallons of maple syrup over his head. But that’s just because I’m an “Islamophobe.”

Update: You have to be patient with them. They can’t help it.

Update: Right on schedule, the anti-atheist backlash has begun.

Update: Speaking of the Southern Poverty Law Center…
