College Basketball Player Ejected For Punching Opponent In The Face

Seton Hall guard Sterling Gibbs was ejected for hitting Villanova guard Ryan Arcidiacono while going for a lose ball in Seton Hall’s 80-54 loss Monday night.

Gibbs was given a flagrant foul two for the punch and was ejected with 4:38 remaining in the game.


Gibbs apologized after the game on Twitter.



Arcidiacono then accepted his apology.


A punishment for Gibbs hasn’t been announced yet.
